This pot does sit flat on the counter, and the lid fits well, and it is clean and shiny. Please note there are storage and utensil marks. Watch out for the Revere Ware pans that look like this, but are much lighter. They are restaurant style, and not nearly this heavy. The bottoms tend to pop, and bow out. This one is true commercial grade, with a commercial grade pasta steamer/strainer. Inside diameter of both pot and steamer – 10. Inside depth of both – 7. Your item will be on the way.
