Tri-ply construction sandwiches a heat-responsive aluminum core between an easy-care stainless-steel interior and exterior. This tall pentola (“pot” in Italian) cooks up to 2 lb. Of pasta at once so you can feed a crowd. It comes with a perforated insert that makes draining noodles, straining stocks and steaming vegetables quick and easy. Set includes pentola, insert and lid. Tri-ply construction sandwiches heat-responsive aluminum core between easy-care stainless-steel interior and exterior. Aluminum core transfers heat quickly and steadily along bottom and up sides of pot so contents cook evenly. Stainless-steel cooking surface with starburst finish provides a premium look. Stainless-steel lid helps retain heat and moisture. Large loop handles facilitate lifting and carrying. Capacity is etched on pan base for quick identification. Do not use knives, sharp kitchen tools or electric hand mixer in cookware, as they may scratch lining. Allow to cool before cleaning. Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents. To remove stubborn food residue, fill cookware with small amount of water and place over low heat until food is soft and easy to remove. Cookware may discolor if not completely cleaned before reheating. To remove discoloration, use cloth dampened with lemon juice or white vinegar, or high-quality nonabrasive stainless-steel cleaner.
