Vintage SABATIER De La Cuisine Pasta Pot with Strainer Duck Mallard Stainless. LOOK AT THIS THING! Detailed duck head handle on the lid… Adorable little webbed feet on the handles… Pasta pot, potato boiler, corn on the cob boiler, low country boil boiler, anything you want to boilboiler. Remove the strainer and it’s a stock pot for your soup, chili, stew, chowder, love potion, enchanting spells. I was unable to gather much information on this as details seem to be as scarce as ducks teeth. See what I did there? This thing is family heirloom quality. While there are a few scratches (see photos), they are consistent with normal use. No gouges, no dents, no stains. It’s possible that some of the scratches could be buffed out but I leave that to the person who wants to own it. I would probably make it worse. It will last several lifetimes. Tight-fitting stainless steel lid. Oven-safe to 500 degrees. Made in USA of Domestic and Imported Materials. Showing slight signs of use; minor surface scratches on bottom as expected from use and storage; otherwise very clean. Light utensil marks on interior of steamer basket. Some water discoloration on pot exterior as photoed. No other obvious stains, dents, no burn marks. Condition issues mentioned are largely not noticeable unless viewed closely. This is a 4 piece set, Very very nice including the Steamer basket with handle. The big Strainer and Lid. It was lightly used and has some scratches on the inside bottom surface of the stock pot. Look at the pictures of the bottom where the brand stamp is, some scratches there also. Look at photo of lid very small rough place, a faint scuff on side. It is LOVELY and ready to grace your kitchen and show off your skills. Thank you for looking!
