I believe this was Military issue as Carrollton put out a lot of large stainless steel pots to Marines, etc. I have had it for over 30 years, and no longer have a need for it. It measures 13″ across, and 7″ high and weighs about 8 lbs. That last picture shows it with a gallon of milk next to it. I used one of these with water in it, and the pot holds 3.5 gallons (3.5 1 gallon milk jugs). I once boiled a 10 pound bag of potatoes in it all at once for potato salad for a party. After cooking them, I added 12 hardboiled eggs and all the rest of the ingredients to mix it in-plenty of room. Some light scratches, no dents. Wasn’t used much. The item “HUGE!
