This SCANPAN Coppernox 24cm/7.2L stock pot expands on traditional cookware with its unique construction. The base is impact bonded with a copper wedge for rapid and even heat distribution. To assist with heat retention and elimination of hot spots, the copper wedge is enveloped by 2 layers of aluminium with stainless steel surrounding the entire piece. This combination provides optimal heat diffusion and control. The sturdy lid with stainless steel rim and tempered glass insert allows you to view the cooking process. The range features cast stainless steel handles with soft touch and comfortable silicone inserts and a internal mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel finish with capacity markings. The range is suitable for all energy sources, including induction. It is oven safe to 220°C. Base is made from 5 layers of impact-bonded fused metals – durable 18/10 stainless steel inside, then a layer of pure aluminium, a copper core, another layer of pure aluminium, stainless steel exterior; a combination that provides the ultimate heat conductivity. Thick base cooks food evenly and quickly, saving you time and energy. Silicone inserts for comfortable and safe grip. Cast stainless steel handles stay cool longer. AGA 18/10 Stainless Steel Stock Pot / Pan & Lid 9 litre / 15.8 pints. This Listing is for an 18/10 Stainless Steel Stock Pot & Lid. Top Diameter 29.5 cm 11. Capacity 9 Litres / 15.8 pints. This is a superb, very large, stock pot with a perfect flat base for ideal contact with the AGA hot plate. Please note I have listed several AGA lots including a second stock pot of similar capacity but a different shape. The Stock Pot and Lid are in excellent condition. The pot has no dents or dings, there are a few minor surface scratches. Judging from the base and the internal surface the pot may have been used once or twice to boil water. The lid is also in superb condition with just a few minor scratches. There is also a few small dents in the lid which are about 1 cm across. See my other items.
